Mission: The Children's International Dental Project is a 501c3 organization. Funding is through personal and individual donations. Other sources of donations are welcome. Our mission is to provide quality dental care to children who would never have the opportunity, or afford, to see a dentist in towns, villiages and rural areas. We have provided dental care worldwide. We teach preventive care, give health related handouts in the local language, do exams, emergency care and extractions, and provide permanent, amalgam and composite, restorations. We are a mobile type of dental mission. We have portable dental units, chairs and provide all the instruments and necessary supplies. Each volunteer pays their own way as a donation. This generally covers air fare, accommodations and local transportation. Our groups can be as large as 16 volunteers.
